my baby

my baby really really really wants to get moving. She gets on her hands and knees and falls flat on her face. jajaja And we stand her up and she holds on to the side of the couch forever. She has even started scooting herself along the couch a little. I am so proud of her. But I feel sorry for her because you can see how bad she wants it in her eyes but her body isn't ready yet. She had macaroni and cheese last night for the first time. And banana bread this weekend. sigh. I love her so much. Whenever we give her eskimo kisses her whole face lights up and she laughs and laughs. She is 8 months old now. She loves singing and she plays on the little piano all the time.

I keep looking at Mary and wondering how she is going to look with long hair. Sammy never really changed becasue his hair was always short. This is a new thing for me, and, amazingly, I cannot will her hair to grow longer. It is mocking me, because it knows it is my secret dream to braid my daughter's hair.
